AVMA Veterinary Leadership Experience

The AVMA Veterinary Leadership Experience (VLE) is an enjoyable and reflective multi-day curriculum that stresses challenge by choice. Through unique interaction with colleagues from other veterinary schools and sponsors, AVMA VLE participants emerge with a powerful network of friends and current leaders in the profession, enhanced leadership and communication skills, a deeper understanding and respect for professional leadership and a commitment to addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the profession. 

The goals of the AVMA VLE are to:

* Provide a highly interactive curriculum involving an array of learning formats
* Present and reinforce concepts of servant-leadership, emotional intelligence, teamwork and communication
* Promote peer–to-peer collaboration and reflective thinking.
