Television chef Paula Deen recently revealed to the world she has Type 2 diabetes and that she is the spokesperson for a drug to treat the disease. This has caused some to take up pitchforks and torches, storm the gates of her media mountain, and try to boil her like a witch in her own hypocrisy.
Hypocrisy is when a person who claims to have certain moral principles behaves in a way that shows they are not sincere. Deen has never made the claim she sells healthful recipes and the unabashed display of her confirmation on camera makes silly any argument otherwise.
