About Us

Julie Dunaway is the Assistant Editor for Clinician's Brief. She previously worked in higher education and as a senior editorial assistant at a major international publishing company. Coincidentally, she earned her liberal arts degree at the University of California at Davis, whose veterinary school is one of the best in the nation.

Julie very much enjoyed her days of IM soccer and competitive swimming, but now prefers her hot cocoa and a great book. Occasionally, Roarke - her household’s playful Pomeranian - will snuggle up for this endeavor. He also makes a great all-natural vacuum cleaner for (puppy-safe) food spilled in the kitchen.
